These cheerful, limited edition hard enamel pins celebrate annual cicadas with a modern original illustrated design by Carolyn Belefski. The pins are produced at 1.5" tall with two black rhinestones to represent the cicada eyes. Other features include matte gold plating and translucent enamel for the wings. Each pin is fixed with a brown rubber clutch and comes with a backing card made of real oak wood. The design portrays an hourglass shape of the body made with the overlapping wings that evokes time passage.
